Hugh Harman (1930)
Hugh Harman (August 31, 1903 – November 25, 1982) was an American animator, film producer, and film director. An early collaborator of Walt Disney and a key figure in the Golden Age of American animation, Harman and his longtime collaborator Rudolf Ising founded Harman-Ising Pictures in 1929, through which they created the Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies cartoon series and set the foundation for what would later become the Warner Bros. Cartoons studio.
